First Ballet Recital

In May Elle had her first ballet recital. She had been taking classes once a week all year at school and I was SO EXCITED to watch her perform!

Getting her all ready for things like this are some of my most favorite moments ever.

Sissy was rocking that ballet bun!

Good luck kisses from Ollie.

My beautiful girl all ready to go!

It was a rainy night so an umbrella and rain boots only added to the cuteness.
This is my old umbrella I got in the 90's from Silver Dollar City. Probably the only vacation souvenir from my youth I still own.

Once we got there I helped her get in her recital outfit.

The mom's all stayed in the room until it was showtime.

She did such an AWESOME job performing!
They did several little numbers and it was all just the cutest thing ever.

After the show her fan base was all waiting with cheers and flowers.
This is one very loved (and lucky) little girl to have so much support from family.

So cute!

A Voss double Voss boy hug after she changed out of her ballet costume.
Big kudos to Henry & Charlie for quietly sitting through the entire show.

Afterwards we told her she could pick anywhere she wanted to eat and she chose Bread Co.
I think I gushed over her performance the entire dinner because I was the proudest mom ever!

So proud of our Sissy Girl!

Mother's Day

This year for me Mother's Day started Friday after Elle got out of school. She came home with all sorts of little gifts for me.

To explain my favorite food of "lunch for dinner" Elle LOVES having lunch food for dinner (lunchmeat, yogurt, fruit, etc.) and every once in awhile I oblige and she really loves it when she is able to make everyone's plate of lunch food all by herself.

On Saturday Mary, Will and I took Mama Rita to dinner and a movie to celebrate. We had a really fun night!

Sunday I woke up to the cutest red white and blue plate with their little handprints.
So lucky to be a mama to these two!!

Then we headed to brunch with the Hylton's.

Then to mom and dad's that afternoon for dinner.
Ollie was excited for a pic with Unc.

World's best Mom and MawMaw right here.

All the grandbabies...

including Patrick. :)

The Paddy countdown was ON at this point!

We gave mom her presents and just had a fun afternoon together.
Such a fun day!

A Party for Paddy

In April we hosted a baby shower to celebrate the impending arrival of Patrick. It was a super fun day made even more fun by the fact that Aunt Mary and Aunt Colleen came into town on Friday. Elle was SO EXCITED to see them!

We had dinner at mom and dads on Friday and stayed up late to decorate and then Saturday afternoon was party time.

Party favors, this was a big hit with Elle. She made sure everyone made their own little bag of sweets before they left the party.

Wishes for Patrick.

How cute does Paige look?!

During the party Elle walked around taking tons of pictures with my phone. I loved looking through them to see everything she captured. She was extremely thorough, every decoration and piece of food was documented. :)  She did find me for a selfie too. :)

I told you, not a single detail was missed.
And I LOVE her serious reflection in the mirror.

She seriously loves her Uncy.

The parents-to-be!!

These two broke out in dance at one point. :)
Can you tell everyone is super excited to meet Patrick?!

Cousin time with Nora.

Once all the party guests left the guys brought the boys over to eat and spend the night hanging out with Aunt Dawn, Aunt Mary and Aunt Colleen.

Ollie was quick to grab a cupcake and jump in Unc's lap.

We also gave Will his "dad-to-be basket".

Henry and Charlie came over dressed as lions...because why not?!
It was a fun night hanging out before Aunt Mary and Aunt Colleen headed back to Nebraska the next morning. The kids played and disassembled the balloon arch and popped all the gold glitter balloons all over the living room.

The perfect party to celebrate the countdown to Paddy!!!
