Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve starts off with one of my favorite traditions...Cousin Christmas Eve Breakfast!

Ollie was excited to show MawMaw the train under our tree.

I mean...
Henry's face in this pic kills me!

So each kid ends up with 2 presents to open. Elle and Ollie each pick a present for Henry and Charlie and the boys do the same.

I love seeing what everyone gets! They all know each other so well!

After presents each kid had a note from our elves. It was a certificate listing if they made the naughty or nice list.

They were all so excited and nervous. I read them for each kid starting with Ollie and working our way up to Henry.

Everyone ended up on the nice list!

We ate breakfast the kids played and it was just a fun morning of excitement!

Ollie put himself to bed around noon in the hopes that he would wake up and Santa would have came. :)

All ready for church.
I bought them each an ornament and let them open before we left.
Elle's was a flamingo float to remind us of the giant flamingo float on our summer vacation and Ollie's was a fish to remind us of the first fish he ever caught, which also happened to be on vacation.

After mass, the Christmas excitement has hit another level at this point!

After mass we headed to Jen & Corey's for Hylton Christmas.

It was a fun night, the kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins and new toys.

We headed home to get in our Christmas pj's and set out milk and cookies!!

Santa we are ready for you!!

Is it Christmas yet?

The days leading up to Christmas we packed in all the final Christmas stuff we wanted to do!

Elle's birthday gift from our elves were these cute Christmas lists you could write and then shrink in the oven to make an ornament of your Christmas list that year. The loved seeing them shrink in the oven!

Elle treated Ollie to a mani/pedi while I was in the kitchen.

And then dressed him up. :)

We decorated our gingerbread house.

We made sugar cookies.

Sis let me try out some fun new hair-do's.

We ran some late night Target errands (trying to avoid crowds on the 21st of December!).
When we got home Ollie passed out and Elle broke out one of her favorite birthday gifts.
A whole case of Hatchimals. She was in love!!!!

So so so excited.
And she was so organized too!

The next morning was Christmas movies and more Hatchimals playing.

Then we split up to run our LAST errands before Christmas. The boys went together and Elle and I shopped, grocery shopped then stopped for a late lunch together. We had so much fun!

One of her birthday presents from Mary was this teacher set. She has loved playing teacher and having Ollie be her student.

We decorated our sugar cookies.
More sprinkles please.

My little Buzz Lightyear hard at work.

We woke up December 23rd to presents from our elves!

That night we had tickets to Rudolph at The Fox Theatre.

After the show we headed to Main Street to see the lights and have dinner at our favorite, Tony's!

Ollie wanted to make sure his buddy Woody got to get in a pic. :)

6

My baby is 6.

This sweet little baby...

has turned into this beautiful, kind, funny, generous, creative little girl!
She has the biggest heart, is a little mama to her brother, helps out SO MUCH in our house, is such an amazing artist, wants to save all the animals she can, hates seeing any type of pollution and is always so thankful. I think I say this every year but she is my world! I am so lucky and thankful I get to be her mom. She is just so very special!!

So, the morning of December 19th was a school day so she woke up to get ready for school and found this surprise waiting for her!
Elfie & CoCo had brought a present for her birthday!

After this she ran to the kitchen to check out the rest of her birthday surprises!

All dressed (hooray for birthday dress down days!) and ready to open presents before school!

She got her Grace doll!

After school I picked these 2 up and we headed to the trampoline park for some jumping.

After we dropped her friend off we headed to MawMaw & PawPaw's for her party!

She was completely spoiled!

Paddy got in on the birthday fun.

Elle is stretching so hard, she can't wait to be taller than MawMaw!

The next day was a half day and Christmas parties at school. I took the day off to help. I loved seeing Elle in her classroom!

All the soccer girls.

That night we had Eric's family over for dinner to celebrate her birthday.

We have officially hit the Barbie stage.

I love this pic!

I remember being pregnant and being so stressed about her birthday being so close to Christmas. Which was so silly!! Elle's birthday week is always so fun! She has class Christmas parties, Christmas break to look forward to in ADDITION to her birthday.

Happy 6th Birthday my baby girl. You make life so fun!!
I love you to the moon and back, Eleanor!
