February

Obviously the highlight of every February is celebrating Ollie's birthday but here is what we were up to the rest of the month.

I don't want to jinx myself but Ollie has NEVER thrown a tantrum in a store...except this fateful day in February. He found this Ninjago watch and grew extremely attached to it which made the goodbye super hard on my Dude.

Back to his normal sweet self.

Birthday party fun.

You know you have a good friend when she makes a special birthday party treat bag for Ollie.

6 years old and still relaxing in her baby bouncer.

Getting a head start on softball practice.

Lazy afternoons are the best!

Elle and I had a face mask night.

Movie time, can't even remember what we saw.
Actually I'm thinking it was Eric who took them to the movie and sent me this pic.

Elle got Quirkle for Christmas and she loves it!

These two have their heated moments but the love they have for each other is so amazing. Elle takes such good care of him.

Going through all of her Valentine's from school.

To celebrate Valentine's day we ordered pizza, watched a movie and they opened their little basket of treats.

She looks so grown up!

Flamingo movie/nap time in my room. :)

New outfit from Maw Maw and Paw Paw.

Trying on Sissy's pullover.
He now has one his own size that (even though I CAN'T believe it) will start being worn very soon when he starts school in a couple weeks.

Beary and Lovey are in her hand until it's time to walk out the door in the morning.

Cutest little Girl Scouts selling cookies outside of Schnucks.

And then Sissy and I headed to lunch just the two of us to warm up after a cold morning selling cookies.

One Tuesday we met my dad and Charlie for a movie for the 2 birthday boys!

A fresh cut for the Dude.

The cutest little boy I know!

Elle got a new puppy, he is super cute!

Headed home after his 4 year checkup...

he got 3 shots. I felt so horrible after he pretty much dictated the rest of the day.

Breakfast at MawMaw and PawPaw's is his favorite meal of the day.

We had the crazy Voss boys over for a slumber party.

All 4 looking so sweet and innocent, the day took a turn. ;)

We were in Target and noticed the new Toy Story section (in anticipation of Toy Story 4).
Ollie has all of these toys and he was still amazed!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

In February Eric and Elle went to their 3rd Daddy Daughter Dance.

Elle is always so excited to put on her new dress and get all ready.

She wanted her hair straightened for the big night!

My gorgeous girl!

All ready for their date night!
They were headed to McGurks for dinner with friends then to the dance at school.

Another family came over for pictures before they headed to dinner.

I requested one more picture before they walked out the door.
Eric said Elle had a great night, she had a yummy fish dinner at McGurks then danced the night away with her friends!

January

A look at our January...

The kids had fun playing in the snow.

Ollie and I built a snowman together.

Elle wanted to build one by herself.

Ollie and I got too cold so we came inside but Elle decided to keep playing. That girl loves the snow!

Ollie was getting super whiny about all the snow she was throwing at the glass.

Back outside and ready for more playing.

Paddy took a ride on the Pantera's horse.

We had a full day of playing at Playtime Party Center with the Voss crew. The kids played in the tunnels, played games, ate lunch then played laser tag.

Ollie was terrified of the laser tag room, the dark room and loud music were too much for him.

My sweet little Ollie.

At school pickup this girls bow is always hanging by a thread, shirt untucked, basically a disheveled mess. This is proof that we are actually put together in the morning.

My little Girl Scout.

Ollie and I did an Ikea run for new dressers for the kids while Elle was at school one day.
He tested out the beds for his new big boy bed.

My shopping buddy!

We created these Buzz Lightyear wings from an Amazon box.
Ollie was a big fan!

We celebrated Eric's Grandma's birthday.

Ollie was giving her the card he made her.

One tired little dude.

Elle made herself a pretend cast.

100 days of Kindergarten!
Elle was so excited to complete this project (with 100 stickers) herself.

After school ice cream party at MawMaw and PawPaw's!
