Eckerts

Apple picking at Eckerts is always one of my favorite days of the year.  It wouldn't feel like Fall without frog legs, a big bag of apples and allll the pictures in the apple fields.

We always stop at the same little restaurant in Grafton for lunch so Elle can eat frog legs.

They are always so nice to the kids at this restaurant and they usually leave with new necklaces and little snacks.

These babies just keep growing!

That little bald head and baby toes!!!!

The fed the animals some carrots...Elle was pretty jumpy and actually just threw the carrots at them.

My pumpkins.

On our way to pick apples!

My baby!!

Ollie loved apple picking...

and loved taste testing even more!

Could this child be any cuter?!

A little dancing in the apple fields.

Elle always wants to hug or hold hands in pictures with Oliver and he usually isn't a fan.

My babies. :)

After we picked all the apples we could handle we headed to the pumpkin patch to let each of them pick out a pumpkin.

The Russells on a hunt for the perfect pumpkin.

After apples and pumpkins the kids rode a few rides before calling it a day.

Can't wait for our 2019 apple picking day!!

Cheer Camp

This Fall Elle participated in the cheer camp the high school cheer team was hosting.

This was her fist time trying cheer leading and she was SO EXCITED. It was a Saturday morning, I dropped her off then came back up at the end of the 2 hours to see the cheer and dance they learned.

She looked so tiny out there with all the big girls.

Later that week she got to cheer at the soccer halftime show.
Ready to hand with all her cheer friends during the game!

I'm not sure how much of the actual routine she remembered but she did get much more into the little dance they performed. She left that night saying she loved cheering and that she's found "her sport".

She definitely looked awfully cute!!

Fall Festival

In September Eric's work hosted a Fall Festival for all employees and their families. It was a HOT day but also lots of fun.

They had bounce houses, lunch, face painting, pumpkin decorating and games.
The kids were big fans of the bounce houses.

We ended the day with each of them getting an airbrush tattoo. Ollie went with the poop emoji

and Elle chose a fairy.

Beginning of the School Year

The time between back to school and Fall is always fun. The weather is still nice, we have soccer games every weekend. Lots of fun stuff happening.

Elle's first soccer game of the season and she scored a goal!

Never want to forget these little toes that are always resting on me.

Pantera's with Paddy.

While Elle is at school Ollie and I got in the habit of playing with lots of sidewalk chalk.
He would draw then decide he would just give me a list of things he would like me to draw.

Ollie and all his buddies.

Mary, Elle and I went to the Taylor Swift concert.
She was so excited!!

She enjoyed the show, was pretty quiet and overwhelmed by all the lights, videos, fire, snakes. Lots going on. But I did see her singing and dancing along to some of her favorites.

And as soon as the show slowed down and Taylor sang a a couple slow songs Elle climbed in my lap and fell asleep.

I let her skip school the next day since we had such a late night.
We headed to the dentist where her and Ollie had perfect check-ups!

The prettiest sunset.

A Saturday at the soccer fields with Paddy!

It's good to be Oliver Russell.

Obsessed with this little boy!

Ollie and I surprised Henry at school with lunch one day.

We had fun!

We enjoyed the nice weather and after school park play dates with our friends.

Elle's Kindergarten school pictures!

Burning off some energy.

Halloween PJ season starts September 1st for us!

Elle and PawPaw have a fun after school ice cream date most weeks.

Ollie is just the sweetest thing ever.
He is such a good boy and just so polite.  I love when I ask him to do something and he will say, "OK! Good idea! Good idea!"

The weather was so nice one day that we spent forever at the park one afternoon.

A Monday off school means more park time.

Movie time!

Celebrating 10 years with a lunch date!

More ice cream dates with PawPaw.

One night Elle made a sign and said she was protesting having broccoli tots for dinner.

Digging for roly pollies.
