Will & Paige's Wedding

We had the BEST TIME at Will & Paige's wedding weekend! I am so sad that it is over and behind us.

We kicked off the fun with a drive to Kansas City on Thursday to meet our good friends Jeff & Steph for dinner.  This was our first time meeting their baby girl, I couldn't give her enough kisses!

Headed to KC!

Taylor was eyeing Elle's pizza. :)

After dinner we drive to Lees Summit and checked into our hotel. The long naps in the car meant these two were wiiiiide awake.

Elle doing some light reading before hitting the pool with daddy for a late night swim.

Ollie stayed in the room with me to go to bed.  He loved this mirror.  He would look at himself and just laugh.

One of Elle's favorite parts of hotel life was going downstairs for breakfast. She actually told me she doesn't like our house anymore because it's too "normal" and that she wants to live in the hotel. :)

Baby boy could barely see over the table to reach his Fruit Loops.

Friday morning after breakfast we hit the pool! Neither of my kids are very adventurous swimmers yet so it was a lot of holding them in the water.

After the pool and showers I got a text from my Aunt Colleen that they had arrived!!
I was so excited to go to their room and see them!

Elle and Ollie were of course very shy at first but I was so surprised at how quickly Elle opened up to them. Granted, they are the best and Elle had heard me rave about them.  I love that she had a chance to hang out and fall in love with them too.

Eric and I took our 2 for lunch (Ollie fell asleep in Culvers after eating 1 french fry) and then walked back to the room so Elle and Eric could join Ollie for his nap.

I heard a rumor that the Voss boys were running wild at the pool so I had to go see my boys!
They were having SO MUCH FUN swimming with Uncle Bill...or Unc Bill as Charlie called him.

Ollie giving himself more kisses in the mirror.

I took Elle to my Aunt Colleen's room so she could french braid her hair for the wedding rehearsal.
I feel like this was a full circle moment...I remember sitting in hotel rooms having her braid my hair and here I was watching her with my daughter. :)

Ollie and Unc at the church.  The crowd was overwhelming to Ollie boy.

Ring-bearer and flower girl!

The dinner my parents hosted after was so amazing!! 4 courses of super yummy food!

My kids LOVE Italian food so the meatballs and toasted ravioli cocktail appetizers were a huge hit with them. Not to mention there dinner of spaghetti and pizza.  They were in heaven!

Late night swim #2 for this girl! Can you tell she's excited?
I don't think she was in bed before midnight for 3 days straight.
#yikes

Playing catch with Aunt Mary in the pool was the highlight of her weekend.  She is still talking about it!

Showered and ready for bed in her new Peppa Pig jammies from Aunt Mary and Aunt Colleen!

The wedding day!!
In Paige's suite waiting to get our hair done.

MiMi was Elle's bestie on this morning.
Trying to catch Fruit Loops in their mouths.

Sissy's pretty updo!

These two looked so handsome!

Dress in one hand, Jimmy John's in the other. :)

This face!!

If you've never seen this face consider yourself lucky! She is not happy about something!

How pretty does Mama Rita look?!

My girl. :)

Too cute for his own good!!
My dad had to carry him down the aisle, leaving all 4 kids in the back with him while Mary and I walked down the aisle was...chaotic.  Poor dad!

Dare I say the cutest flower girl I've ever seen?!

Party bus time!

Oliver ADORES Henry!

After Will and Paige cut the cake he brought a bite over for Elle.
He is the best Unc to these babies!!

One of my favorite pics!

Such a fun weekend! So happy for Will and Paige and so grateful that she is apart of our family forever.

Paige's Bridal Shower

A couple weekends ago we threw Paige a Bridal Shower at Winery of the Little Hills.  It was a Mulligan team effort planning the party and everything turned out perfectly!

Mary had the idea to have the kids answer questions about Aunt Paige.

This flower girl loved helping MiMi move the tables and chairs around as we were setting up the party.

And she looooved helping Paige open her presents!

This lady will be Mrs. Mulligan this weekend!!
We are heading to Kansas City tomorrow and then to Lees Summit Friday to start the wedding festivities!! Such a fun weekend ahead!

Life Lately

It's Friday, woohoo...but I think I'm getting sick, boo!  But better this Friday than next because next week we will be in Lees Summit for the big wedding!

Life's hard when you get to sleep in every Monday.  I think she is telling me to move out of the way so they can watch cartoons. :)

All settled in for some breakfast...

Until I turn around for 2 seconds to make a cup of coffee!  These two move fast!

Having a picnic with one of her babies.

Ollie loves kicking the soccer ball around!

Ollie walking into the splash pad like he owns the place.

Where's Charlie Bear?

After the splash pad we headed to Pantera's for pizza.  Every kid (including Mary, Will and I) have rode on this horse!

While Ollie was on the horse Elle was racing! Go Sissy go!
Look at her face, so much concentration!

A trip to Target is never complete without a stop at Starbucks.  The ultimate bribe for them to be good!

Taking a swim in the pool. Ollie fell face first one time and I was in that pool grabbing him in .02 seconds. Eric was like, "relax and see if he lifts his head on his own next time." Ummmm, no.
#nevergonnahappen

After swimming they ran around the yard playing and since Ollie's swim trunks were practically falling off his little body we just went without them.

His little belly just kills me!!!

A fun morning jumping with the Stille boys at the trampoline park.

My two took approximately 500 water breaks.

Sissy mastered the balance beam.

I don't think she could possibly be any cuter!!
I absolutely adore this girl.

Kicked back and relaxed.
These couches aren't the most stylish thing to have in the living room everyday but the get so much use!! Elle naps on hers almost everyday.

Another evening swimming!
And then the tornado sirens started going off. :(
We were out of the pool and running inside as fast as we could go!

This boy is on the move constantly!!
He loves going in the laundry room or my closet and closing the door behind him and he gets so angry when I make him open the door.
The baby tantrums are in full swing! Lots of throwing his little body on the ground and crying.
He listens and will follow directions (most of the time) and he tries so hard to talk to us!

The boy loves books!! One of his favorite things is to pick out a book, sit in my lap and have me read it over and over and over again.

He tries to climb on EVERYTHING!!!
In this pic he is headed for my drink.

He skipped his nap on this afternoon and at 5pm I took him outside to hopefully run off the rest of his energy.  He was just way too grumpy!

Throwing a fit on the ground because I was making him stay in our yard.

Sissy was not about to let him run out of our yard!
It's time to start looking at fences.  I can tell him won't be as easy to corral as Elle.

We were shopping for Harper's birthday party and Elle fell in LOVE with this Minnie tea set. I told her we could take a picture and remember it for her birthday.  After the picture she whined, "I wish it was almost Christmas!".  haha

This girl doesn't know the date of her bday but she does know it's right before Christmas!

Sissy does not like heights!

Snuggled up with my baby boy.

I was in the living room and Elle yelled from the playroom, "MOM! Come look at Oliver!"

Of course I wanted a picture before I told this little sweet pea to get down. I asked him to say "cheese" and he actually repeated "eeeesssse!!"

This is the first time he has repeated a new to him word on command!
My baby is getting so big!

Fun at MawMaw and PawPaw's.

We have a fun weekend ahead!  We are going shopping tomorrow for Elle's school supplies (is this really happening?!!?) and Sunday we have Harper's birthday party!

Then next week is Elle's preschool orientation and Will's wedding!!
And then it's almost FALL Y'ALL!!
I already have pumpkin candles and new Fall decor purchased just waiting to be put out!
