It has been said on this blog approximately 1 million times but we LOVE a zoo day! So one Tuesday the weather looked nice so we headed to the zoo for some fun.
They were in the process of decorating for Boo at the Zoo and we loved seeing the Halloween decorations!
It was the perfect day, there was hardly anyone there and tons of animals were out.
We rode the carousel (which Oliver was terrified of) and then headed to see the new grizzle bear exhibit then to the polar bear.
Ollie and the polar bear shared a magical interaction.
He would swim right down to Ollie's little face over and over and over. It didn't stop until Ollie got bored and walked away.
We stopped for a picnic lunch when a thunderstorm rolled in so we cut our day short and headed home but we are hoping to get another zoo day in before Halloween!
