Life Lately

This is a catch up post of fun pictures from August/September. I'm behind but LOVE having these to look back on!

Horsey rides are a favorite in our house.

When you gotta dress the part to be invited to the tea party...

The night before her 1st day of school! All tucked in and excited for her first day!

Making birthday cards for MawMaw and PawPaw.

The only (appropriate) pic from their bday celebration.
I have pictures of the Voss boys on the deck but those will be used for black mail later in life...although something tells me the boys won't even be embarrassed by them. :)

My Ollie :)

This child! He is so much FUN!!

I stayed home with the kids for the solar eclipse while Eric went fishing with Will. Ollie didn't really partake but Elle did!

Fight night at mom and dad's.

Ollie couldn't hang.

I came into the living room and found Ollie all cozy watching TV. He had dragged his couch, pillow and blanket out to the living room.

Helping Aunt Sarah open presents at her bridal shower.

And Elle was SO EXCITED to hold baby Caleb!

Ollie loves his toy Gumby, he is not into the show at all but this Gumby is one of his favorite "guys". I love to see the random places he puts his toys.

My Monday's with Ollie usually consist of trips to Target and playing outside.

Dentist appointment...Elle had a great check-up...Ollie wouldn't let them clean his teeth so here's hoping next time is smoother. ;)

They don't push the teeth cleaning at his age because they want the visit to be enjoyable for him. We did hold him down for the dentist to take a peek and all looks good!

He loves to carry his "guys" in Elle's dog carrier. She happily shares it with him but she has told him to ask for his own for Christmas. :)

In our house September 1st means IT IS FALL Y'ALL!!!!!
I surprised these babies with new Halloween jammies, we ordered Imo's and got to work decorating while Eric was at work.

Spooky face!

Notice Woody and Buzz in his hands. These two are his FAVORITE and since they are little and he puts them in the oddest places they are SO HARD to keep track of!

Ollie has never had a lovey or stuffed animal he clings to, if he brings something to bed it is these two. He love love loves them!

Mary, my mom and I took the kids to Dickherber Farms one Saturday.

Charlie was TERRIFIED of the animals, Elle was pretty scared of the chickens, Henry was kind of indifferent and Oliver LOVED it!

He would run full speed at the animals and my mom and I would chase him because I thought for sure one of the animals would be threatened by this tiny little boy with crazy hair and bite him!

After the animals they played in the kids area for awhile where Mary was finally able to convince Charlie to get out the car and play. :) Little Beary is not an animal lover!

These two LOVE Schnucks. If we are out running errands they always ask to go to Schnucks. It doesn't hurt when they hand out samples of ice cream. :)

Playing their favorite game, "put baby Uncy to sleep".
Will is a genius...he made up a game where they cover him up and rub his back to put him to sleep...and Elle and Oliver LOVE it!

Just trying on his Halloween costume. :)

Putting them to work!

We went to dinner one night and then Elle informed Eric and I that it was Ashlyn's (her dolls) birthday so she requested a stop for ice cream after dinner.

Elle made me this bracelet one day at school and I love it!

Elle is such an amazing big sister! She sat with Ollie and "read" him this Toy Story book.  He is constantly requesting either this book or Little Penguin gets the hiccups.

Hanging with Harper after a flower girl dress fitting.

Pizza and dress fitting at Grandma Chris's house.
See all the figurines piled on the ottoman and on the floor? The second Ollie walks in the door he grabs them from the TV stand and starts playing with them.

One day I was wearing a gray tee and jean shorts and Sissy went and got dressed to match me.
This girl, I love her SO MUCH!

Her favorite way to smile :)

Falling asleep with his "guys" in his hands.

A Monday at the park with Oliver and Buzz Lightyear while Elle was in school.

Elle and Ollie are both so great about playing independently. The picture below is Elle building a city for all the little Bears.

She is also REALLY into playing with her dolls. I love hearing her talk in her room to them, she gives them baths, feeds them, runs errands with them. And we rarely leave the house without one of her "girls".

Ollie is still super into his "guys". He puts them in cars or airplanes and it can occupy him forever.

We had some AC problems one day and the house was HOT.
We had fans going everywhere and Elle would sit in front of them like Beyonce. :)

Look at the cute little profile and perfect curls!

And that's our August and September. We are currently squeezing in all the fall fun while we can!
