Sitting.Waiting.Wishing.

This Jack Johnson song has new meaning for me now!  We are still waiting for little Elle to decide she is ready to meet us, I am ready to force the introduction! :)  Our doctor has said that we will talk inductions and what to do if she is not here by her due date at our next appointment on Monday.  Eric is really wanting her to come on her own, he hates the idea of us picking her birthday.  I, on the other hand, am just ready to meet her!! I so badly want her to be here and home for Christmas.  Doesn't she know she has several presents waiting for her under the tree?! ;)

We had our maternity pictures this past Sunday.  I was secretly hoping I would go into labor before the session started, I wasn't completely sold on having pictures taken of myself going into my 39th week.  Several people told me I would be happy that I did them later on.  I would have loved to see pictures of my mom and dad weeks before they had me, so I guess I'm glad we did them.

So for now I will just keep sitting, waiting and wishing! Any day now, little Elle.

Almost There...

After continuously saying I would start this blog throughout my pregnancy, I finally decided to scratch it off my to-do list...4 weeks before I'm due. :)  As of my last ultrasound our little girl weighs 5lbs 13oz and is in the 40th percentile.  Quite a difference from the 95th percentile she was in around week 32.  I guess she is just growing at her own special pace and keeping us on our toes.

20 weeks

With my due date being 4 weeks away there are still several things we need to do.  First and foremost I need to pack my hospital bag, have her car seat installed and our birthing class isn't until December 8th (holy last minute!).  I kept saying I would have everything checked off our list by Thanksgiving but that was last week and we still have a ways to go.  Oh well, it will make these last few weeks go by quickly I guess. :)

29 weeks & no longer fitting in my own t-shirts

I have had a fairly easy pregnancy.  My biggest complaint would be the nausea and indigestion (terrible!!) but I guess those are to be expected.  I haven't been a huge fan of meat this entire pregnancy, I think I'm growing a vegetarian. :)  The one thing I will miss the most about being pregnant is feeling her little kicks.  I never would have thought I could so easily fall in love with a little person who kicks and pokes me every single day.  I'm so excited to finally have her here and see her face but I will definitely miss feeling her move around every day.

36 weeks

Now, we just need our Mermann to come home before she makes her big debut!  Only 26 days until December 22nd!!
