Easter 2015

Easter this year was so fun.  Elle was excited about the Easter bunny...as opposed to being terrified last year.  We went to Bass Pro one Saturday with the Voss boys, Mary, Mom and Paige to see the Easter Bunny.  Elle and Henry loved it, Bear and Ollie not so much!

After our bunny visit we all went to Deweys for lunch where these 2 loved watching them make the pizza's.

Easter weekend Elle and I dyed Easter eggs one night.  This year I decided to try the little foam eggs from Wal-Mart, mainly because I hate the smell of boiled eggs.  Elle does love that she still has her Easter eggs to play with at her little kitchen but I think next year we will go back to real eggs.  This little fake ones didn't absorb the dye as well.

I fully expected a big, colorful mess of glitter and dye but Elle didn't spill a drop.

On Easter eve we set out the Easter Bunny's carrot and Elle decided he wanted it to be a "little bit hot" so into her oven it went.  I love that her little mind thinks of these things.

Elle and Oliver's Easter goodies.  Elle immediately proclaimed the basketball hoop and soccer goal Oliver's because they are "boy things" but Eric and I have convinced her girls play too.  Their baskets had movies (The Little Mermaid and the Toy Story trilogy), swimsuits, clothes and candy.  Elle also got a Jessie doll and bubble gun.

After they looked through their loot Elle started her egg hunt.  The bunny hid eggs inside and outside in her playhouse.  Elle still talks about the bunny hiding eggs outside. :)

After the egg hunt we all got dressed for church.  Getting out the door for church on a holiday is always a mad dash!  I was able to snag a few pictures before we left.  Oliver looked so adorable, I wanted to eat him up all day long!! Elle was being such a stinker about posing for pictures.  Her smile in this one is pure SASS!

After church we headed to Eric's parents house for lunch and then to mom and dad's for dinner, egg hunts and Easter baskets!

Mom is always so worried about Oliver being cold (even though the boy sweats like crazy!).  She always has a blanket wrapped around him, I joke that she is just like Grandpa Bailey!

Then Charlie decided to get naked...

and Henry decided to pose for pictures like this...

Just your typical Sunday afternoon with the Voss boys. :)
