Ho Ho Ho

One Saturday Mary and I met up to take the babes to go see Santa.  We ended up going to Main Street St. Charles, they had a really cute set-up.  The line weaved through a little building and each room had something different for the kids to see or do.  Some rooms had trains, other crayons and coloring books and the last room was Santa!

I think both Henry and Elle were a little nervous when we were in line.  Elle kept talking about how Ho Ho is "such a nice guy"...I think she was giving herself a pep talk. :)  Henry kept saying "he no bite your fingers"...again another pep talk, although a bit weirder. :)  When we were in line I told Hen to keep his eyes peeled for Santa's reindeer.  This is him keeping his eyes peeled.  When we were in line we could hear a motorcycle drive by, Henry looked at Elle and said "do you hear that motorcycle, sweetheart?"  These two are so cute together!!

As we got closer to the back room you could hear Santa's bells and everyone starting getting a little nervous.  Elle immediately wanted to be held, I think I was just as nervous for her!  We haven't had the best luck with Santa or other characters (with the exception of Truman).

Henry and Charlie went first, easy peasy...2 happy little Voss boys.  Henry told Santa he wanted a "digger" for Christmas.

Next up was my Roni and she did SO GOOD!  She was nervous (as you can see by her tight smile) but she didn't cry and she even talked to him!  She told Santa her name and said she wants toys for Christmas.

Elle's nervous smile

And we ended up with this perfect picture.  I was so proud of her!

Next we headed to the Main Street area for the Santa parade which is something to skip in the future...but we did see Olaf on our way there.  Elle gave him a five but didn't want to be put down to have her picture taken with him.

I also learned that Henry hates Olaf and will jump out of his stroller to avoid going near him.  Mary wanted to kill me for shouting "Olaf's here!".
