We leave for summer vacation in 2 days so I need to hurry up and get some Spring pictures posted!
We had a playdate at the Voss house the Monday after Easter since everyone was out of school. The Disney Channel Zombies movie was a popular part of the day. Henry was dressed head to toe like the main character and even set up a zombie zone upstairs where you could get your picture taken with him. :)
We also were granted admission to his Finding Nemo show taking place in his room. He even asked for donations at the end of the show. :)
We weren't there long before Missy May was requesting green zombie hair like the Voss boys.
When I would ask Elle what she wanted to do on her spring break she would always say "I want to stay up really late after daddy and Ollie go to bed, drive to Taco Bell and have a girls movie night".
So we did just that!
We went to Taco Bell at around 10pm and came home and slept on her mattress in the living room and watched Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
She has already asked to repeat this night over the summer.:)
We even left the mattress out the whole next day so Ollie could enjoy it too!
leopard on leopard.
First soccer game for the dude man!
He was feeling good during warm ups and ready to start the game!
And then the game started and he felt very differently! It was FREEZING on their first game and he eventually cried and just wanted me to hold him on the bench...which continued through the rest of the season. Even if it was a gorgeous day he would say he didn't want to play because it was going to be "cold freezing". It's like he had a valid excuse the first game and just decided to stick with that for the rest of the season!
This sweet girl LOVES her some Von Maur!
We met Marshall one weekend and Ollie and Taylor were playing a game of watching Jeff's brother-in-law sleep in the other room and see who would get closest to him.
I came home to some fabulous new jewels from Sissy!
Everyone always comments on Oliver's curly hair but Sissy has some pretty amazing curls of her own!
He still loves rolling down the window and waving and yelling "hi" at everyone as they drive into school pickup.
One Saturday was crazy busy. Elle had a birthday party at the trampoline park so Eric took her to that, I took Ollie to soccer and then we headed to Paige's baby shower. Fun, FULL day!
Thankfully soccer was rained out, these two sat in my car while Coach Mary ran around in the rain telling all the parents.
While we were at soccer practice one Monday Eric and Elle went out for a little date at their favorite Chinese restaurant. So Ollie and I ordered a pizza for our own little date night.
Sissy showing me how she says the Pledge of Allegiance in class.
I was able to pick up Elle from school one Friday and then worked from home the rest of the afternoon before picking up Ollie. We stopped for a milkshake for Elle and a Dr. Pepper for mama.
Girlfriend has BIG opinions on her style. IF she doesn't love it, it's like pulling teeth to get her to wear something.
She is a little mama to all of her babies.
She says she wants 10 kids when she is older, 5 boys and 5 girls. Plus 2 cats and she wants to live in an apartment. :) That may get crowded!
So the soccer season as a whole was kinda a bust for Ollie but it was allll worth it for his soccer picture!!! He insisted that Buzz be in the photo too and I LOVE how they turned out!
I feel like winter dragged on forevvvvvver so when Spring finally showed up we celebrated with lots of time at the park riding bikes, picnicking, playing with chalk and playing on the tennis courts. We would show up and just play all around the park for as long as possible.
Eric had told Elle if she slept in her room all night without crawling in our bed he would buy her the big tiger from the Mizzou store.
Girlfriend was SO EXCITED when she finally earned her tiger!
We went to Henry's Kindergarten performance one night.
Elle wanted a picture with Paige and Patrick. :)
We were able to convince Oliver to play one Saturday at his soccer game, he went in kicked the ball and then got nailed right in the chest when someone on the other team kicked it back to him. He was down for the count!
We celebrated my 34th birthday with family and Mexican food!
It was Family Night so they had balloon animals and face painting. It was a super fun night!
Elle has been getting lots of bike rising practice in!
We went to Charlie's preschool performance one Sunday. Ollie is a pro at clapping after each song.
These two. :)
Monday's with my Ollie boy while Elle's at school. Our mornings are usually slow and cozy.
I surprised Elle one Monday and came to have lunch with her. She was SO EXCITED!!
I loved getting to hang with my baby girl.
Park date while Elle's at school.
Sissy got super fancy for dinner one night. Ollie wanted to be in the picture with her. :)
Elle had Field Day at school one Friday. Love all the end of year activities!
And one Saturday we went to one of her little friends birthday party at the cutest boutique!
They had a trunk of dresses to pick from.
Tea and bracelet making.
Each girl got her hair braided and some sparky lipstick.
So proper with her tea!
I love that one day she can all dressed up drinking tea and the next she can be out getting her hands dirty fishing with her daddy and Unc.
This little boy wanted to do school pickup dressed as Truman. :)
Costume is getting a little small! It is 12 months.
Play doh party on the deck after school.
These two love to dance and act out movies, I swear one of them will be an actor when they are older.
